Edward Goodall (1795-1870)
Engraver, based in London. Goodall specialized in landscape, and he was closely associated with Turner. Important projects included the vignettes after Turner for Samuel Rogersʼs Italy (1830) and Rogersʼs Poems (1834), complementing William Findenʼs figure engravings for those books after Stothard. Other collaborations with the artist in steel engraving include the illustrations to the Poetical Works of Thomas Campbell.
